Hi Tamara,
I'm sorry, I just noticed your comment. The blog is suppose to send me an email when a message is posted but it failed to do so. Sara is an excellent knitter, isn't she? I called her (because she doesn't do email) and the chess set was her own design and there isn't a pattern available. She really appreciated your nice comments! Thanks for looking at our blog!

Linda Temple..My name used to be Nancy Dennis. I lived with my then husband Mike Dennis in Peabody Kansas. You used to bake our bread. It is a small world. I am looking for someone to bind an old family crocheted throw. Would love to visit. I live in Edmond.

Thank you, Mary. I'm sure many people will be interested in seeing this exhibit. I tried searching for more information about "Baskets of Oklahoma" but I didn't find anything on the internet or on your guilds' website. Please give me the address of the library and the time of day it can be seen. Kay

Great blog! I really enjoyed it! Some of the OK City members wanted info on the "Baskets of Oklahoma" exhibit to be held at the Waurika Library from August 16th to August 20th. There will be about 100 baskets on exhibit each day. It's only a couple of hours drive from OK City - four hours from Tulsa. The Basket Weavers Guild of Oklahoma is sponsoring it, but anyone who weaves is invited to join with us in showing basketry as it is now happening in OK.
