Tuesdays at Sundown –Feltmaking with guest lecturer Pamela Husky

For more than 10,000 years, wool felt has been used for clothing, housing (yurts), carpets and blankets.  Today, felt is also used in industry and architecture to control vibration, sound and pollution.  Felt has unlimited applications in both 2D and 3D design. Felter Pamela Husky  will provide a history of the craft, contemporary felt works and a demonstration of the feltmaking process.

Members are free, nonmembers $5
